Lokalsinne is an Android app that uses satellite navigation (GPS) to show your position on a map. Lokalsinne allows you to save places you have been to and record tracks of your movement.
Your position, your saved places and your saved tracks are only sent to others if you manually use the Share function. Only the information you choose to share will be shared. Lokalsinne does not secretly share any information.
If Auto Backup for Apps is enabled in Android, places you save and tracks you record will be automatically copied to your Google account in the cloud. Lokalsinne requests that encryption is used during backup. Refer to Google for more information about your privacy when using Android Auto Backup.
All information stored by Lokalsinne can be deleted by uninstalling Lokalsinne and deleting any backups in your Google account.
If you use the Search function in Lokalsinne, your search query will be sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim server for processing. Please refer to OpenStreetMap Foundation for more information about your privacy when using Nominatim search.
Lokalsinne does not handle any personal or payment information. Purchases in the app are handled by Google Play. We have every confidence that using Google Play for payment is safe, but what information Google Play collects and share is outside our control. Refer to Google for more information about your privacy when using Google Play.
The Android operating system can collect and share information about your app usage, including your use of Lokalsinne. Refer to Google for more information about your privacy when using Android.
